- Director of Music Post: the meeting were pleased to hear of the appointment of Dr Yesh Tanna as our organist and choirmaster. He will take up his post next month.
- Inclusive Church: this would be the subject of our sermon on Sunday, 20th September and will be a main item on our November agenda – to address the other commitments prior to registration on the network.
- Churchyard: the meeting reviewed the re-wilding of this year. A subgroup was formed to address churchyard issues, prepare for Remembrance Sunday (including recruiting a working group to tidy the churchyard) and adopt a strategy for maintenance in the future.
- South Aisle project: the meeting explored possible funding agencies and agreed to start applying for funds between now and our November meeting. Contractors are agreed for when the funding is available.
- Fabric of the building: it was agreed to commission our quinquennial building report.
- Finance: the meeting is aiming to pay more of our Parish Share later this year, we are also in the process of examining our investments and completing Charity registration.
- Other Matters: As usual, the meeting dealt with any Health & Safety matters together with any safeguarding issues.
