Donations may be made anonymously should you prefer not to be named. We encourage use of PGS because regular donations incur no charges. St Nicolas can benefit further if you are able to Gift Aid your donation. Funds are collected by Direct Debit which you can cancel or amend at any time.
Single donations are made by debit/credit card.
You can also support the church for future generations by making a legacy to the church in your will. This is a very simple process costing nothing during your life but making a huge difference in the future. The details of what to do are below.

Background
There has been a Church in Taplow for over 1000 years; there is still evidence of the original Norman Church next to Taplow Court. The current church is over 100 years old and costs some £75K a year to maintain.
- In recent years, we have replaced the north side roof.
- We are now fundraising to address similar (and urgent) needs on the South Side of the church.
- A few years ago we installed a new heating system.
- The Parish Council has helped us to restore the War Memorial which is within our churchyard
- We have a long list of other things we need to do to sustain our church for the long term future
Our Mission
In the light of the pandemic, we have re-visited our Mission Action Plan to respond to the needs of our changing and growing community.
- We are increasing our online presence on our website and Face Book
- We are now live-streaming our Sunday morning services
- We are taking ‘Church’ into our local community through community action
- We are developing our links with our school including regular involvement in assemblies
- We have ambitious plans to spread the Gospel within our community through providing learning opportunities, a wider variety of worship opportunities and involvement in community action
Our Needs
Our parish church needs the support of our whole community to keep the doors open for all. Leaving a Legacy to the church
The Parochial Church Council of Taplow Parish Church is a charity for the purposes of the Charities Act 2011. This means that you can leave a legacy to our church without tax. You simply include the address of the church and its registered code in your will.
