St Nicolas Church is used for a wide range of musical events. It has a fine acoustic and it is relatively easy to adjust the seating and stage arrangement to suit different needs.
Many people attended the Good Friday performance of Brahms Requiem at our church. It was part of our reflections for Good Friday. Our organist and Choirmaster, Neil Matthews assembled a small chamber orchestra and our augmented choir rehearsed for some months in advance. The result was a moving experience and now we can all enjoy it because Tony Bridge who does our live-streaming of services, has put a recording of the event together so you can watch it, hear it and follow the words.
