During August, we were able to collect £XXX (figure available shortly) for the St Martins Homeless Charity to add to all the money we have raised for different causes this year.
This month, at the request of one of our congregation, we have Bucks Vision as our monthly charity appeal. This charity offers a number of different services to people living in Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes supporting people through all the stages and severity of sight loss. People lose their sight for a wide variety of reasons, including age related conditions, genetic conditions and eye-health problems. However, losing your sight does not have to mean losing your independence, nor does it mean that you need to struggle alone or lose contact with people. Bucks Vision offers advice about equipment and technology, support groups, activity groups and support at home.
