For April, we are looking to support Christian Aidwith a specific focus on Myanmar. Christian Aid is working closely with partners and networks to identify the extent of the damage and the risk to communities there in three main ways:
Releasing emergency funds: They are releasing emergency funds so that local partners can begin to reach affected communities with vital life-saving assistance.
Assessing the damage: With partners, including those in the most affected areas, they’re currently assessing the damage and scaling up an emergency response.
Community-led emergency response: The immediate emergency support that Christian Aid can offer includes offering food parcels, water kits, shelters and cash for essential supplies.
