Churches Together Autumn Events

There’s a lot going on in Taplow and Burnham before Christmas. Here is a list of different events for us all to support.

Saturday 12^th October       10am to 1pm      Arts and Crafts Day    The Methodist Church, Lent Rise 

Saturday 19^th October           7pm to 9pm    Sing for You      St Andrews, Washington Dr, Cippenham

Burnham’s Community Choir + bar and raffle.  Tickets £10 (children free) available from St Andrew’s. Doors open 6.30pm

Thursday 14^th November       7pm           “Drinkers, Sailors, Soldiers, Spies”         St Nicolas, Taplow

Martin Uden, former British Ambassador to South Korea, shares the Hollywood worthy stories behind many of those buried in the UN cemetery in Bussan and the historical context of how they came to be there.  The evening starts with dessert and coffee.  Tickets £10 from St Nicolas Taplow website www.st-nicolas-taplow.org under the Friends/Taplow Talks tab

Sunday 24^th November          10.30am                 60^th anniversary service        Burnham URC

Burnham URC celebrate the 60^th anniversary of laying the church’s foundation stone.  The service is followed by lunch.

Churches Together hope to run a messy church stall indoors at the fair.  Vicci to circulate more information when it is known. Helpers needed.
