Thy Kingdom Come

What started in 2016 as an invitation from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.

“During Thy Kingdom Come, you are invited to discover new habits and ways of praying to God, that those whom you know might come to know Jesus.

From the earliest days of the Church, people have gathered together to praise God and to pray for salvation through his Son. The services in this booklet form part of what is sometimes known as the ‘Daily Office’.”

Here in Taplow and Dropmore we will seek to offer one service each day, possibly night prayer (Compline), from Ascension Day on Thursday 30thMay to Pentecost on Sunday 9thMay.

We will also participate in local Churches Together events – details to follow.
